Africa

In 2005, God dramatically called us from the comfortable life of a middle-class American Navy family to a new life as full time African missionaries. . . . we’ve never been the same.

We spent 3.5 years living and working in the rural bush of Uganda, east Africa in a district known for it’s witchcraft, sickness and poverty.  Bundibugyo literally means, “the place which goes NOWHERE.”

Living alongside a polygamous people group who believes God is good but witchcraft is stronger taught us so much about our own inadequacy, about the lack of God’s power in our lives, and about our quickness to judge.  God grafted us into the African family while we lived there and now we can’t wait to get back.  We love the beauty of the Ugandan people: their quickness to laugh and their passion for life.  They have so much to offer the world.  And we’re tired of Satan’s victories in their life – it’s time for REVIVAL!

Bundibugyo is GOING SOMEWHERE!

We eagerly await God’s direction for the next phase of our lives and hope Africa may play a starring role again . . . . .
