“The meeting of two personalities
is like the contact of two
chemical substances;
if there is any reaction,
both are transformed.”
-Jung
It sounds like fiction. An eighteen year old girl with big dreams and no experience of the world marries a 36 year old PhD holder who has lived for years underwater and walks the pentagon.
She loves jeans and walks in the woods and dreams of writing and adopting children and changing the world through beauty.
He thinks huge science thoughts and loves fine shoes and antique furniture and babies in other people’s arms and classical music.
They have almost nothing in common.
Girl has dream in which God shows her what a true man looks like – she begins to watch man.
Man finds he can’t take his eyes off girl . . . . .and finds the world fascinating when he walks with her.
We were meant for each other.
Simply.
Truly.
He redeemed me and I saved him and we both learned who Love is and why Grace was needed through each other.
And despite the fact that he has eighteen years and three degrees on me we still find we fit better together every day.
It’s the kind of story that should have had a terrible ending. Except God wrote it. And He only writes good ones.
“I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is Mine.”
Love it. I have a crazy God-written love story, too. And they are the best kind.
Love this. Love you guys.
